  1. Begin by preparing your apples. Peel, core, and slice into fry-shaped sticks, roughly ½ inch thick. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Create a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with a whisked mixture of egg and milk, and one with panko, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Dredge each apple stick in flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then place the coated apple fries in a single layer.
  5. Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
