For the Mousse
  • 2 avocados Avocado Ensure they are perfectly ripe
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt Crème fraîche can be used for a richer taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs e.g., cilantro or dill
For the Garnish
  • 4 slices Smoked Salmon Opt for high-quality salmon
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Directions
  1. In a blender, combine the ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, sour cream or Greek yogurt, and fresh herbs. Blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and add salt and pepper as preferred. Blend again briefly.
  3. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses, filling them about three-quarters full, using a piping bag if desired.
  4. Layer smoked salmon slices over the mousse, garnishing with fresh herbs or lime zest if desired.
  5. Optional: Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Before serving, add extra herbs or freshly cracked pepper on top.
