Cooking Steps

  3. In the bowl with the shredded tofu, mix canola oil, soy sauce, chili powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Spread the seasoned tofu mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and slightly crispy around the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with sweet BBQ sauce, then toss to coat.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for another 6-8 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
