- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, freshly minced garlic, finely chopped onion, beaten egg, and your choice of barbecue sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix gently.
- Set your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F, and let it preheat for about 10 minutes.
- Divide the burger mixture into four equal portions and form patties about ¾ inch thick, creating a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Grill patties on one side for 6–7 minutes without pressing them down.
- Flip the patties and grill for an additional 6–7 minutes until they reach medium doneness or an internal temperature of 160°F.
