  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce Opt for vegetarian oyster sauce or hoisin sauce as an alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese Cooking Wine (Shaoxing Wine) Replace with Mirin or dry sherry or omit for a non-alcoholic option
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil (Toasted) Always use toasted sesame oil for best results
  • to taste Cooking Salt Adjust according to your dietary needs
  • to taste White Pepper Use black pepper if needed

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Bok Choy by trimming the ends, separating larger leaves, and rinsing under cold water.
  2. In a large non-stick skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat for about 30 seconds, then add the julienned ginger and sauté until fragrant and light golden.
  3. Add the bok choy into the skillet, coating with the ginger-infused oil, and sauté for around 15 seconds.
  4. Increase heat to high, add a splash of water, cover, and steam for 45 seconds.
  5. Remove the lid, pour in the sauce mix, toss quickly for about 30 seconds until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve immediately, drizzling with additional sesame oil if desired.
