Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the 9x9-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the boxed brownie mix by combining it with melted butter and eggs as directed. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the greased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool for about 15-20 minutes before cutting into 9 squares.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the vanilla frosting for about 10 seconds, stir until smooth.
- Dollop the frosting in the center of each brownie square.
- Decorate large marshmallows with black writing gel to create ghost faces.
- Press one decorated marshmallow onto the frosting of each brownie.
- Let the assembled brownies sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes to allow the frosting to set.
