Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheeseburger Pretzel Bombs
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each piece into an 8-inch long strip.
  3. Place a slice of American cheese and a mini meatball at one end of the dough strip and roll tightly.
  4. In a large pot, bring 5 cups of water to a rolling boil, then stir in the baking soda until fully dissolved.
  5. Drop a few assembled bombs into the boiling water and let them cook for 20-30 seconds.
  6. Transfer the boiled bombs to the baking sheet, brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
