  • 1/2 cup Red Onion can substitute with green onions
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper any color or jalapeños for heat
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt is a great substitute
  • 1 tsp Paprika use smoked for richer flavor
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder can use fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne reduce if prefer milder
Pesto Sour Cream Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can substitute
  • 1 cup Basil Pesto store-bought works well

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Gather all your ingredients for the Mexican Antojitos.
Mix Filling
  1. Combine cream cheese, diced green chilies, cheddar cheese, red onion, bell pepper, sour cream, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne in a mixing bowl.
  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Assemble Antojitos
  1. Lay flour tortillas flat and spread the cheesy filling over each one, then roll tightly and cut into five pieces.
  2. Arrange pieces seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Bake for about 8 minutes, then switch to broil for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
Serve
