Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough, separating it into triangles. Lay each triangle flat.
- Place a teaspoon of the creamy filling in the center of each triangle, then top with 1-2 cherries.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges securely to seal.
- Gently brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle coarse sugar if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Keep an eye on them!
- Once slightly cooled, drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk if desired for glaze.
