- Lay out the saltine crackers in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils.
- Carefully pour the toffee mixture over the crackers and bake for about 5-7 minutes.
- Quickly sprinkle 1.5 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them melt.
