Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay out the saltine crackers in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils.
  4. Carefully pour the toffee mixture over the crackers and bake for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Quickly sprinkle 1.5 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them melt.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it.
  7. Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the top to balance the sweetness.
  8. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.
