Preparation Steps
  1. Optional: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Mix meat sauce ingredients in the crock pot: cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Add chicken to the sauce in the crock pot, coating it fully.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Shred chicken in the crock pot using two forks.
  6. Incorporate sour cream and mix until the sauce is creamy.
  7. Serve topped with shredded cheddar cheese and parsley.
