  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Adjust for spice level

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas under cold water. Pat dry and let air dry for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Spread chickpeas evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Stir chickpeas after 10 minutes and continue roasting for another 10 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Divide between bowls for flavoring: drizzle sweet batch with maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon; toss ranch batch with oil and seasonings; mix spice batch with oil and spices.
  6. Return sweet batch for an additional 5-10 minutes, and repeat for ranch and spicy batches.
  7. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, then serve.
