Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just incorporated.
  5. Fold in the diced rhubarb and dark chocolate chips.
