  1. Start by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and optional cayenne pepper for a bit of heat. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets, and drizzle fresh lemon juice on top.
