Method
 

Making the Cakesicles
  1. Crumble your leftover cake or cupcakes into fine crumbs in a large bowl, optionally mix in frosting.
  2. Melt the coating chocolate or candy melts in short increments, stir until smooth and glossy.
  3. Pour melted chocolate into molds, coating the bottom and sides, and let set for 5-10 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Fill molds with the prepared cake mixture, packing it firmly, and leave space for more chocolate.
  5. Pour more melted chocolate over the cake mixture, smoothing the top and sealing the edges.
  6. Insert popsicle sticks into the centers and chill for 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Carefully remove cakesicles from the molds and decorate as desired.
