Step-by-Step Instructions for Healthy Halloween Snack Board
  1. Begin by peeling the mandarin oranges, revealing their juicy, vibrant segments. Press mini chocolate chips into the top of each orange, resembling pumpkin stems.
  2. Take ripe bananas and slice them in half lengthwise. Melt a small amount of chocolate chips, and draw eyes and mouths onto the cut sides of the banana halves to create ghost faces.
  3. Slice green and red apples into wedges. Spread dulce de leche, caramel, or peanut butter across the inner side and insert slivered almonds as teeth, topped with candy eyes.
  4. Blend 24 ounces of cottage cheese with 1 ounce of ranch dressing mix until smooth to create a protein-rich dip.
  5. Cut cheese sticks into thirds and slice bristles into one end, inserting a pretzel stick into the opposite end.
  6. Slice cucumbers into thick rounds and cut out circles for eyes and mouth to create skulls.
  7. Halve assorted sweet peppers, scoop out extra flesh, and place candy eyes on top using leftover dip as glue.
  8. Using a cookie cutter, cut cheddar cheese slices into bat shapes, and arrange them artfully on the board.
