Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Lightly brown the sliced smoked kielbasa sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup and sour cream, then stir in cheese and seasonings.
- Fold in the hash brown potatoes and browned kielbasa until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and top with remaining shredded cheese and optional toppings.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until the edges are bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
