Preparation Steps
  1. Start by crushing the Golden Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Melt the salted butter, then combine both and press into a greased baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant lemon pudding mix and milk until thickened, then refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  3. Blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip. Spread over the crust.
  4. Layer the thickened lemon pudding over the cream cheese, smoothing it to an even coat.
  5. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the lemon layer and sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
