Method
 

Step 1: Prep the Cake Batter

Step 2: Create the Chocolate Mixture
  1. In a small bowl, combine cocoa powder and instant coffee, carefully add boiling water, stirring until smooth. Fold this mixture into the cake batter.
Step 3: Bake the Cake Layers
  1. Divide the batter among three greased cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Step 4: Prepare the Salted Caramel Sauce

Step 5: Whip Up the Frosting
