Step-by-Step Instructions for 5-Minute Peanut Noodles
- Fill a pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, add your favorite noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 4–5 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, in a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, dark soy sauce, chili oil, and rice vinegar. Stir until smooth.
- Drain the noodles in a colander, avoiding rinsing them, and let excess water drain.
- In the same pot, return the drained noodles and pour the creamy peanut sauce. Toss gently until evenly coated.
- If desired, add 1–2 tablespoons of the hot noodle water to adjust the sauce consistency and toss again.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with extra chili oil, and top with cilantro or green onions. Serve immediately.
