Instructions
  1. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until translucent.
  2. Combine cooled onion and garlic with ground beef, ground pork, panko, milk, egg, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  4. Cook the patties in a medium-high skillet with olive oil for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Make sauce by deglazing the skillet with sake, then adding ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and water, simmering for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve patties with warm sauce over the top, alongside steamed rice and vegetables.
