Preparation Steps
- Start by cutting high-quality mozzarella cheese blocks into sticks, aiming for a size that is easy to handle. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Take a slice of thick-cut bacon and tightly wrap it around each mozzarella stick, overlapping slightly. Place the wrapped sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- For added crunch, prepare a coating by mixing all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate shallow bowls. Coat each stick appropriately.
- Transfer the prepared sticks to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is golden brown and crispy.
- Once golden and crisp, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
