- Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of the trifle dish, reserving some for topping.
- Whip heavy cream in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In the bowl used for whipped cream, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, key lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- Layer half of the lime cream mixture over crust, sprinkle reserved crumbs and then top with remaining lime mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill and set.
