Ingredients

For the Beef Mixture
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Feel free to swap with ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based proteins for a lighter meal.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh minced garlic elevates the dish; garlic powder may work in a pinch.
  • 1/4 cup Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce Use regular soy sauce if that's what you have, just adjust the salt in your other ingredients.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Reduce the amount if you prefer a less sweet taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger Fresh ginger can enhance the flavor further.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red-Pepper Flakes Adjust the amount according to your spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil While olive oil can be used, it's not recommended for frying at high temperatures.
For the Toppings
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions You can also try chives or shallots for a different flavor profile.
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Feel free to leave them out if you’re not a fan of seeds.
