Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Iced Tea
  1. Start by boiling 1 cup of water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once boiling, add your black tea bags or loose leaf tea and allow it to steep for 3 minutes until fragrant. Remove the tea bags or strain the loose leaf and stir in 2 tablespoons of honey until fully dissolved. Set the tea aside to cool completely.
  2. While the tea is cooling, take 1 ripe mango and dice it into small cubes. In a blender, combine the diced mango with ½ cup of cold water and blend on high until you achieve a smooth, thick mango pulp.
  3. Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl or pitcher and pour the mango pulp through it. Use a spatula to press down, extracting as much mango nectar as possible.
  4. Fill glasses with ice, leaving room for tea and mango nectar. Pour the cooled tea into each glass until it reaches about two-thirds full. Layer the freshly strained mango nectar on top.
  5. Garnish your Mango Iced Tea with fresh mango slices on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
