  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate for drizzling
  • 12 pieces marshmallows halved

Cookie Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar until fluffy and light.
  2. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until thoroughly combined and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, hot cocoa mix, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Shape tablespoons of dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes, then press halved marshmallows onto each cookie.
  9. Return to oven for an additional 2 minutes.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with melted chocolate.
