- In a medium bowl, combine the unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sliced green onions. Mash and blend until smooth.
- Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Spread a layer of the miso butter over each fillet.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until opaque and flaky. Optionally, broil for the last 1-2 minutes.
- For air fryer, preheat to 400°F (200°C). Cook the fillets for 9-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer cooked salmon to a platter, drizzle with remaining miso butter, and garnish with green onions.

For best results, allow salmon to come to room temperature before cooking. Try adding Sriracha to the miso butter for extra flavor.
