  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce omit for gluten-free

  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese or American/cheddar alternatives

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet and place over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and green bell peppers, sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Push vegetables to the side of the skillet, add ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper over the mixture, stirring for 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add provolone cheese on top, cover, and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise to create pockets.
  7. Ladle the beef and vegetable mixture into each hoagie roll.
  8. Serve hot, optionally toasting the filled rolls for added texture.
