Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by heating a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat, careful not to lose the flavorful bits stuck to the pot.
- Add diced onions to the pot with the cooked beef. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent and fragrant, stirring occasionally.
- Add the macaroni, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir everything together, increase the heat and bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Cover the pot and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. The macaroni should be al dente and most of the liquid absorbed.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it has melted and created a creamy sauce around the macaroni.
- Dish out the One-Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni while it's still warm. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
