Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by peeling a fresh pineapple and cutting it into chunks, removing the hard core.
  2. In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks with ¼ of a fresh lemon (juiced) and 1 cup of water. Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Strain the blended mixture into a bowl or pitcher using a fine mesh sieve.
  4. Moisten the rim of a glass with water and dip into sugar for a frosted appearance.
  5. Fill the glass with approximately ½ cup of ice cubes, then pour the strained pineapple mixture over the ice.
  6. For a garnish, grill pineapple slices on a stovetop grill for 2-3 minutes until caramelized, then add to the drink.
