  • 1.5 cups Filtered Water Use for boiling and diluting.
  • 2 bags Black Tea Bags Can substitute with green or oolong tea.
For Sweetening
  • 0.25 cups Vegan Granulated Sugar Adjust to taste; other sweeteners like agave work too.
For Flavor
  • 1 cup Passion Fruit Pulp Fresh or frozen; strain for seedless tequila.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 1½ cups of filtered water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Remove from heat once boiling and steep black tea bags for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Gently remove the tea bags and add ¼ cup vegan granulated sugar to the warm tea, whisk until dissolved.
  3. Pour in 1½ cups of room-temperature water to cool the tea, stir gently, and allow to sit for a few minutes.
  4. Scoop out the pulp of passion fruit and stir it into the cooled tea. Strain if you prefer a seedless drink.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour the Passion Fruit Iced Tea over. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
