- Boil 1½ cups of filtered water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Remove from heat once boiling and steep black tea bags for 3-4 minutes.
- Gently remove the tea bags and add ¼ cup vegan granulated sugar to the warm tea, whisk until dissolved.
- Pour in 1½ cups of room-temperature water to cool the tea, stir gently, and allow to sit for a few minutes.
- Scoop out the pulp of passion fruit and stir it into the cooled tea. Strain if you prefer a seedless drink.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the Passion Fruit Iced Tea over. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
