- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) for the perfect hard-boiled eggs.
- Place the eggs in a muffin tin to prevent rolling and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once done, transfer them to an ice bath for 10 minutes to halt the cooking process.
- Cook your thick cut bacon in a skillet over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until crispy.
- Peel the cooled hard-boiled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- On the bottom half of each egg white, place a small piece of crisp lettuce, followed by a thin slice of Roma tomato.
- Add a quarter piece of cheddar cheese and a piece of crispy bacon on top.
- Top each bite with a small dollop of mayonnaise and a touch of mustard, if using.
- Carefully place the top half of each egg back and secure with a toothpick.
- Season each bite with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper and serve on a platter.
