  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Toss with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper, then spread on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, crumble and cook the Italian sausage for 6-8 minutes until browned. Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes, then pour into the skillet with garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return cooked sausage to the skillet, stirring to coat. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Add roasted sweet potatoes to the skillet and toss to combine with the sausage and sauce.
  8. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
