  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust for spice preference

Equipment

  • large skillet

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Slice your steak thinly against the grain and mince 3-4 cloves of garlic. Set aside for later.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and sauté for 3-4 minutes until browned. Transfer steak to a plate and cover.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cheese-filled tortellini and heavy cream. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce bubbles.
  5. Return the sautéed steak to the skillet and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens and tortellini is heated.
  6. Plate the dish warm and sprinkle with extra grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve family-style straight from the skillet.
