  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce Tamari for a gluten-free option
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch For tenderizing and texture
Stir-Fry
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil Peanut, vegetable, or avocado oil
  • 1 large Onion Yellow or white recommended
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers Sweet and crunchy; substitutes allowed
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce Substitute with hoisin or extra soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Fresh grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the beef strips in a bowl, add soy sauce and cornstarch, mix well, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  3. Increase heat to high, add marinated beef strips, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Reduce heat, add oyster sauce, minced garlic, and fresh ginger, and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add bell peppers, toss, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Serve over steamed rice or noodles, garnished as desired.
