  • 2 tablespoons Water add more if needed for thinner sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil substitute with another oil if desired

For the Tofu Balls
  • 2 cups Tofu Balls substitute with store-bought meatballs if not vegan
  • 1 tablespoon Oil (for cooking) any cooking oil can work
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced, adjust quantity as preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions optional for garnish
To Serve
  • 4 cups Steamed Rice or Noodles for serving

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, water, gochujang, tomato ketchup, sesame oil, sugar, and rice vinegar. Whisk together until well-blended and smooth.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour the mixed sauce into the pan with the sautéed garlic. Allow it to come to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Introduce the air-fried tofu balls into the pan and gently toss them in the sauce for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Check the sauce consistency and add extra water if too thick, stirring well.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving over steamed rice or noodles.
