Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika, mixing well to create a flavorful spice blend. Set aside.
- Evenly coat the boneless, skinless chicken thighs with your prepared spice mix, ensuring every piece is well-seasoned.
- Place a large nonstick skillet on the stove over medium heat and add vegetable oil. Let the oil heat up for about 2-3 minutes until shimmering.
- Carefully add the seasoned chicken thighs to the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for approximately 5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken thighs from the skillet and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm.
- In the same skillet, pour in the Bang Bang sauce, scraping the brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow the sauce to simmer on medium heat for 1-2 minutes until bubbling.
- Return the cooked chicken thighs to the skillet, gently turning them in the Bang Bang sauce to coat thoroughly. Heat for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and serve the Skillet Bang Bang Chicken Thighs on a platter. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions.
