For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions Adds a fresh crunch and vibrant color.

Equipment

  • large nonstick skillet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika, mixing well to create a flavorful spice blend. Set aside.
  2. Evenly coat the boneless, skinless chicken thighs with your prepared spice mix, ensuring every piece is well-seasoned.
  3. Place a large nonstick skillet on the stove over medium heat and add vegetable oil. Let the oil heat up for about 2-3 minutes until shimmering.
  4. Carefully add the seasoned chicken thighs to the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for approximately 5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken thighs from the skillet and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  6. In the same skillet, pour in the Bang Bang sauce, scraping the brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow the sauce to simmer on medium heat for 1-2 minutes until bubbling.
  7. Return the cooked chicken thighs to the skillet, gently turning them in the Bang Bang sauce to coat thoroughly. Heat for an additional minute.
  8. Remove from heat and serve the Skillet Bang Bang Chicken Thighs on a platter. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions.
