Cooking Steps
  1. Lightly season your chicken with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and grated ginger if using. Add vinegar and red pepper flakes, whisk until combined.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over, ensuring each piece is coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. For a thicker sauce, remove chicken, mix cornstarch with water and stir into remaining sauce. Let it simmer until thick, then return chicken.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
