  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Arrowroot powder can be used as an alternative

  • 1 cup Canola Oil Peanut oil also works

  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped) Optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Frying Skillet: Add 1.5 inches of canola oil to a large skillet and heat over medium until shimmering, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Set Up Breading Station: Whisk two eggs in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and red pepper flakes.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Dip each tenderloin in the egg mixture, then coat with panko mixture. Place on a plate to rest.
  4. Fry the Tenders: Fry the coated tenders in hot oil for 3-4 minutes on one side, flip, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Make the Spicy Sauce: Combine minced garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, sriracha, peanut butter, and ginger in a small pot. Whisk until gently boiling.
  6. Thicken the Sauce: Mix cornstarch with water, add to boiling sauce, and simmer until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Coat and Garnish: Coat fried tenders in spicy sauce, garnished with cilantro, and serve immediately.
