Step-by-Step Instructions for Strawberry Milk Matcha
  1. Sift 1-2 teaspoons of ceremonial matcha powder into a small bowl, ensuring no lumps. Heat ½ cup of filtered water and gradually add, whisking in a zig-zag motion for about 30 seconds until frothy.
  2. Wash and slice 1 cup of fresh strawberries. Add them with 1 cup of non-dairy milk and 1-2 tablespoons of agave or maple syrup to a blender. Blend on high for about 45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour in the blended strawberry milk halfway, then slowly pour the matcha on top.
  4. Gently stir with a straw or spoon to mix and optionally garnish with a fresh strawberry or sprinkle matcha on top before enjoying.
