- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8"x8" baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until well combined.
- Melt the salted butter and let it cool slightly before adding it to the dry ingredients, along with pure vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Press about two-thirds of the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust bakes, wash, hull, and chop fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
- Remove the crust from the oven and layer the reserved crumb mixture on top, followed by the chopped strawberries.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the top layer is golden and bubbly.
- Allow cooling slightly for at least 10 minutes before whisking together the glaze ingredients and drizzling over the bars.
