Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions until golden brown.
  2. Allow the baked cake to cool completely on a wire rack for about 30 minutes.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in 3/4 cup of strawberry frosting until well combined and moldable.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-2 tablespoon-sized balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt pink candy melts with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip each truffle in the melted coating and place back on parchment paper.
  8. Sprinkle with optional decorations while the coating is still wet.
  9. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over coated truffles for a finishing touch.
