  • 4 cloves Garlic Keep whole for broiling.
  • 1 medium Onion White onion preferred.
  • 2 cups Pineapple Fresh or canned, pat dry if canned.
  • 1 can Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Adjust quantity based on heat preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Adjust to taste.
Optional Add-ins
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice For extra zing.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chop finely before mixing.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to the broiler setting and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Arrange tomatillos, onion slices, garlic, and pineapple on the baking sheet and broil for about 10 minutes.
  3. Flip the ingredients and broil for an additional 5 minutes until charred and softened.
  4. Transfer all ingredients to a blender, add chipotle peppers, and blend until desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and optional lime juice.
  6. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
