  • 2 tablespoons Butter (melted) Olive oil for dairy-free
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Substitute: agave nectar for vegan
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Use fresh minced garlic if desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Optional for extra flavor
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped) Fresh dill can be substituted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin side down on the baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Generously apply half of the glaze over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then brush with the remaining glaze.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until flaky.
  7. Let it rest for about 2 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
