Baking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix and flour.
- Mix in melted butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Scoop out dough and roll into 1-tablespoon sized balls, optionally rolling in sugar.
- Bake for about 14 minutes, until puffy and slightly cracked. Indent centers while warm.
- Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Microwave white chocolate chips and heavy cream until smooth to make ganache.
- Fill each cooled cookie cup with the ganache.
- Top with one whole M&M for the face and two halves for the ears.
- Let ganache set at room temperature for about 2 hours before serving.
